ME: Higher Power, I pray that you remind me today if/when I choose addiction, this means lack of contact with You. To keep You in my thoughts above and before the substance/behavior. May all my decisions go through You first. May this be the breakthrough I need to get to You.

HP: My precious child, I am with you always, even when you do not feel me. Yes, I will be with you. I will remind you to pray when approaching any substance and to check in with Me first.  I have created a bounty of life for you to ENJOY! What you crave only brings death. Death of body. Death of mind.  Death of Spirit.  What you crave is an illusion that keeps you in bondage to the disease. I don’t want that for you. I have something much better. I love you. I made you. I will provide for you. Trust Me to do this. Trust me with your thoughts and actions. The time has come. I will not leave you or forsake you. Your heart is ready to receive this. Receive it now.
